Type S 625 is tested and certified by Lloyd's Register of Shipping. A Lloyd's Register Certificate has been issued for both the 2000W and the 3000W version.The luminous intensity of the searchlight with a 2000W and 3000W halogen lamp respectively complies with the regulations of the Suez Canal Authority.

Remark:

There have been reports that the Suez Canal pilots are being very strict about compliance with the Suez Canal regulations Art. 28 - Searchlight (2) and insist on vessels of more than 30,000 S.C.GT being equipped with searchlights with 3000W light sources.
On vessels that fall under this regulation, we recommend using the 3000W halogen lamp version of Suez Canal searchlight S625.
